The Guild

The Guild is a western technical college club that is a haven for geeks of all kinds. Card geeks, anime geeks, game geeks, computer geeks, heck even DnD geeks are welcome, we are school funded to allow a place for us to hang out and with that come half off on trips to conventions all over the US. There is a small due, but that is expected, the first day you walk in and adopt a nick name. While I'm at the guild I'm Dachande, I play Magic, Yugioh, and even Unreal tornament 2004 on the school computers. We are starting up a daggorhire unit, daggor is reenacting mid-eval battles and actually using foam replicas of actual weapons and armor if you wish. I'm trying to get an airsoft tournament going but so far no dice. We are currently on break but on return we will be recruiting like crazy, we meet every Monday and Wendsday. If you want to come down and try it thats ok we allow you to try it without paying. We're also sponsored by gaming generations so we can host retro gaming nights.

Dollar general

I'm employed at dollar general, I hate every minuet of it. The corporation of DG is going the wrong way the shrink nazis are not allowing us to really effect shrink in a positive manner. As a cashier you cannot even to an item void for any reason without the manager there to turn a key and void out the item with manager privlages. Returns are like voids, all us as cashiers can do is ring stuff up, and perform pickups, though we have to stand up front and wait for a manager to put the pick up in the safe. and as a cashier DG expects way too much with what hours they give the stores, two people on duty thats it, those too have to take care of truck, clean store, recover shelves, grab carts from outside, prevent theft, and wait con customers all at the some time its impossible. For minimum wage asking all that is not going to happen with any self respecting american. College and working at DG good freaking luck it harder then concrete. We have a 9 o clock store so my shift starts at 3:30 and most my classes end at 4 o clock, and with the hour drive yeah not possible. I get paid so little I get charged no Federal withholdings anymore. So my advice is do not work for DG I say you should boycot the place.

Yautja

What is that title your probably asking right about now. Yautja is the real name for the predators from the movie "predator" and "predator 2" along with several other movies, comics, and games. Yautja is a race built on honor and hunting boasting ones blood line by achieving great feats on the hunting grounds, which brings a male hunter female attention. The predators have extremely advanced weapons such as plasma cannons, auto knives, smart discs, as well as some dumbed down weapons like the retractable spear. If a hunter was to encounter a human and the hunter was not a high enough rank he was to cloak and evade contact. wait what I sappose your asking Yautja culture is a caste system starting from suckling(children), unblooded student(teens) blooded(adult), leader(middle aged), and finally elders. That is also how the honor ranks are formed. Honor is important to the yautja culture and this is shown is all predator movies until "Predators", AVP 1 and 2 and I'm sure the comics are no different. If you see a Yautja I suggest you throw away your weapons and drop to you knees to show submissivness because the can easily kill a human with one hand. In the AVP games I play predators simple because I have good instincs and can usually out manuver even the quickest of enimies.

Devin

Devin would be my girlfriend, don't get to exited I'm not going to discribe her looks. As a person she is the most beautiful living thing in the universe. She is the type of girl that remindes you what its like to be a kid again, just being around her forces you to relive the freedom and happyness you felt as a kid. Her blond moments are really irritating but when the anger subsides you reliese it was actually kinda funny. Her energy is as vibrant as a rabbits yet her aura is often gentle and caring. She puts up with me, I will never understand as to why, but of course I will never complain. I knew i was in love with her even in 3rd grade, I was just to nervous to ask her out back then. We ramained friends up until 7th grade when she went with the girls group of the band while I stayed with our original friends. That was a mistake I really with I had kept her closer. For months we would only see each other at 4H, and only once a month at that. Eventually the dells trip came and I asked her out. Things went well until sophmore year of high school when her friends got sick of my "I tell nothing but the truth so don't ask a question you don't really want the answer to" attitude. They then tried to break us up and almost succeeded, Devin chose me over 4 other girls. Now I only have to deal with one of her high school friends, I'm not thrilled about it but I give up trying to force her away from us. Finally I have asked her to marry me and we are putting the wedding thing off until we both graduate from TC and get decent jobs.

Wiki leaks

We all knew it was coming, Wiki leaks, ok first what the heck is it. Wiki leaks is a site dedicated to revealing what OUR own government is hiding from us. I personaly say its about time someone show america we voted for idiots. why is everyone getting worked up about it you could ask if the government is being so over reactive to this and is trying all it can to stop it well that should tell you that there is something REALLY big that they are hiding from us. I'm not ok with this, the media has gotten america's attention so now wiki leaks is spreading like a wild fire by USB and torrents so now our government can't even make a move. The maker of wiki leaks has leaked some heavily encrypted data that if something happens to him the unlock codes will be sent and every one who has that file will know what america has done to secure our freedom. so how can we be proud of our freedome when we don't even truely know the cost, yet.

Stealing music

Copy write laws are full of crap. Look at all the download on the free music sites do you see any one artist that is not rich, NO the artists themselves are rich and to producers are the only ones that get screwed and guess what they are usually already rich. The small bands that need to money to get a start they are not on the net for downloads now are they. So you know what I go with what Kid Rock says, go ahead steal his music he's F*&^ing rich, he does'nt care if you steal his music so why would some dude who's got a million bucks in his bank account collecting dust? As a computer geek I believe in the freedome to data so in my opinion everything should be open sourced, and everything should be there in the open if there is something you want to hide then it's probly not moral to be doing it in the first place.

Goth

I am a goth so naturally I would like to not be telling about myself this way but I have to. Most of us think dark but then again most people do so I really don't understand what is the issue there, why we have such a satanic reputation is beyond me. We usually dress in black or dark color which is the first giveaway that most people pick at. I really don't understand why we all where black I just think it looks good on me as well as black being my favorite color. Nighttime and graveyards are like cake and ice cream to me and several other goths that I've talked to. Personally I feel the energy in a graveyard and it just sends me into just an elaited mood that I just can't help but have fun. Anitsocial is also a way of describing some of us, I do have this trait to a fault, there are very few people I can stand for more than a few minuets. Being a goth I can say that i am always at the sidelines I really don't like the center of attention, most of us don't, because well we've always been outcasts and ignored so to shove is into the spot light is simple cruel. Some may ask as to why I'm even wasting my time writting this but I hope to help eleviate some of the fear "normal" people have for us goths, we are friendly, and most of us don't bite.
